The Victim requested confidentiality, and will be referred to as “the victim” in this report.
Upon arrival, I made contact with and individual match dispatches description. (RV1) the victim who was standing on the west sidewalk of Capp St. Between 17th St. and 18th St. was initially hesitant to answer my questions and her body language suggested that she was scared. She said that she had been living with Mitchell all throughout the 8 months. The victim does not have any children in common with Mitchell. There has been no sexual abuse during their relationship. The victim said that there was one reported incident of domestic violence with Mitchell. The victim said no report was made. The victim said there was numerous non-document/reported incidents of domestic violence. During those incidents Mitchell would push her. Drugs and/or alcohol have not been a factor in their prior domestic violence incidents. No weapons have been used during the incidents of domestic violence.
I gave the victim a follow-up form with case number, victim of violent crime car, Marsy’s card, and DV referral card explaining each. I offered the victim shelter and the victim declined shelter.
