This Sunday afternoon indeed was horrid for a 22-year old biker riding down South Louisiana Street, Block 300 when he was struck by a speeding car. It was a typical hit and run case when the driver did not even bother to stop and help the victim. It is quite a typical scene as the victim is one of the 3200 people who suffered from to hit and run felony in the last five years and 23 out of them were fatal in the year 2014.

Speeding car tossed him off the road, on the windshield, and rolled off from the car as the victim stated said Fernando Garcia, the Chief of Police. The victim then stood up and yelled at the woman driving the car but she fled away from the scene. The victim further informed that the woman was busy in looking at her phone and did not notice the victim. Garcia further concluded.
Hit and runs or the ultimate random crimes are increasing and so are the numbers of victims in San Diego. Figures are alarming and the reasons for driver fleeing from the scene are unknown.
