Epigenetics: You are what you eat?

Introduction: There is a lot of speculation and also studies and research done on epigenetics. One of the aspects that affect the health fanatic community is whether epigenetics determine that we are a resemblance of what we eat or even that we are what our grandparents and parents ate. It circles around what food and nutrients we should eat or those that we should not eat because it determines which genes are activated and which genes are silenced. This can be beneficial to human life for a healthy living.

With benefits, there are also always some negative aspects to this theory or statements. If the wrong foods and nutrition are eaten it can mean that the wrong genes gets activated and can significantly

This means that there is a very fine balance between unlocking the benefits of epigenetics and unlocking the deadly consequences if something goes wrong and the wrong messages are interpreted.

The genome is the organism's full set of DNA that includes all the genes of that organism this means that the genome has all the necessary information to building and maintaining that organism.
Epigenomics is the study of the epigenetic modifications of an organism genes on a much bigger scale than only a single gene. This means that the epigenome is like a catalogue that keeps all the epigenetic modifications that take place in the genome.

Epigenetics is a term that is used to describe the changes in the functions and or expressions of an organism's genes in the genome without any changes taking place in the DNA sequence of that organism. This means that there are modifications that take place within the chromosomes. To put it simply there are phenotypical changes that take place while the genotype remains unchanged... It enables an organism to react and adapt to its ever-changing environment or several factors that might change in that environment during the lifespan of the
