Ernest Hemingway is known as the 20th century’s most influential American writer. Some of his greatest works include, “The Old Man and the Sea”, “A Farewell to Arms”, “The Sun Also Rises” along with many more famous books, that tell of his great adventures during his life time.
His style of writing is simple, direct and unadorned, he is described as being a, “master of dialog”, using carefully emphasis and repetition of his words making his works easy to remember. Hemingway had a great ability to recall dialogue from his thoughts as it is being written. He felt that his writing style was more suggestive that direct, seeing as the reader has to use their imagination as they are reading his works. Hemingway had a distinct ability to speak
