Due process model has been our country's oldest constitutional principles. The purpose of the due process model is to help ensure justice and equality. The public nature of the legal system is shown through the due process model, which ensures the idea that the government is accountable, not that person. It is supposed to provide people with protection from the government when it comes to our civil rights to liberty, life, and property; without due process model, it would be a very easy for a person to get in trouble for something they have not even done. Every individual should be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law in our country. The government can't detain a person just because they resembled a criminal or prosecuting them without informing them on what they are being charged for. This model demonstrates the genuine importance of innocence till proven guilty in our general public today.
