Is to identify and area of weakness or a time where they felt helpless. This will shed light on what the client struggles with and what made them feel that way. You also want to know strengths as well the question provided is to discover strengths, can you give me an example of an instance where you felt did well at a task at work? This will give the coach insight on an instance in which the client felt they did well and give you a better understanding of how they succeeded. The next series of questions were intended to make the client think about themselves and others. What changes would you make to yourself if you could and why? The question will display an area in which the client is unsatisfied with and would look to improve. If you can make a connection between that response and the first one you could have a solid base to start with. The next question would shed light on how the client views others. What changes would you make to others if you could? Highlight the weakness he sees in others and why they believe they have struggled.
