Why students and staff deserve longer lunch I think lunch time should be longer for the students and staff because some people don’t get enough time to eat and there is a huge rush to get pizza or a wrap. Lunchtime is about eating and taking a break, not rushing around. I think the people who get to make these decisions should monitor lunch times and how kids would benefit from longer lunch times. Another reason I think lunch should be longer is because sometimes the food (pretzel, Bosco sticks, etc.) is out and you need to make a quick decision on what else you want so you're not late.
