Dystopian stories always make people wonder how bad it will be in the future. Dysopia's genre is mostly horror, fiction, and science fiction. Famous examples include George Orwell's novel 1984, Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, and films like The Matrix and Bladerunner. Some instances in these stories display a strange, mysterious, and supernatural quality, while others resemble everyday situations that an ordinary person could face today. The Giver by Lois Lowry and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury are two especially interesting books. In one, humans live in a world where technology has taken over the attention span to the point of brainwashing, and books have been destroyed and banned.
