Do you know what the perfect sport is? Football has been around since 1892 and the NFL(National Football League) was created in 1920. Football is the best sport. A sport needs to have a long and established history. The first football helmet was made in 1896 out of leather. The 1890s is also when the first shoulder pads came out, which were made out of leather. Some of the best football players ever are Jerry Rice, who was a wide receiver, Walter Payton, who was a running back, and Lawrence Taylor, who was a linebacker. Jerry Rice has led his team to 3 Super Bowl wins, Walter Payton has 2 Super Bowl wins, and the same follows with Lawrence Taylor.
