Charging The Future
The issue of gasoline becoming limited first arose in the nineteenth century when people first started gasoline vehicles did not realize all of gasolines flaws, for example becoming more and more scarce. Gasoline has numerous flaws, for one gasoline powered cars cause extreme amounts of air pollution when powering the vehicle killing the very planet humanity lives on every time someone goes for a drive. Also gasoline is rapidly running out forcing scientists to find an alternative fuel source to power cars without using gasoline. So what will everybody use when gasoline is gone?.Well there is a simple solution, in fact the new fuel source to power the cars of …show more content…
Electricity powers the vehicle without using any greenhouse gases which causes pollution . Therefore causing no pollution when powering the vehicle (Shaw). Also electric cars do not create any pollution when gathering the electricity itself from a power plant. Electric cars have the ability to gather electricity from a grid instead of a coal burning plant which creates pollution while gathering the electricity (Shaw). Electric powered cars are way more environmentally friendly than gasoline, so why not make the …show more content…
First of all the car has a battery built into the engine of r that you plug into a charging port and proceeds to charge the battery in which powers the vehicle when at full charge (How Electric Cars Work). All vehicles, whether it be gasoline or electric, turns potential energy into kinetic energy by releasing stored energy. The electric car works slightly similar to a gasoline powered car except electric powered cars release the stored energy electrothermally creating no combustion to power the vehicle creating air pollution (Woodford). Combustion in the engine is what creates greenhouse gases thus damaging the environment. When the fully charged battery is in the engine and the vehicle turns on, the electrons stored into the battery start bouncing around powering the engine thus powering the vehicle without creating any pollution (Woodford). Electric powered cars are very simple to power and charge and that reason alone is why America should make the
