George Washington Carver was a person who worked hard to fix the American agricultural system; he helped many farmers and scientists in practical ways; he revolutionised agriculture with modern ideals; and he helped assist world leaders with methods and theories for modern agriculture. The fact that he managed to create many scientific breakthroughs as an African-American while enduring racism and many other laws that fought against him, along with his many inventions and environmentally viable and sustainable agricultural methods, and this shows the reasoning behind why George Washington Carver was an instrumental figure in agriculture with his inventions and different methods.

First, George Washington Carver helped farmers and scientists in many ways using practical methods that he invented. He taught hundreds, perhaps thousands, of farmers about the idea of soil quality. He created a lab and an agricultural extension where he worked tirelessly to “invent” new methods to preserve soil quality and increase crop yields. During his time at the Tuskegee Institute, George Washington Carver made several important discoveries in the field of agriculture, such as nitrogen in soil and how that affects soil quality; the science behind crop rotation and yield itself; and he also taught fellow students about his ideas and thoughts, which he later proved to farmers. Additionally, he built an entire laboratory to work on patenting new ideas and working on better ways to improve soil quality. This shows the dedication that George Washington Carver showed to science, botany, and agriculture, as he was able to spend countless hours perfecting his ideas and showing them to people, which he then showed to top officials, cementing his importance as an important figure in
