Get to Know Me by Five Songs. I never understood how I became the person I am today without going the direction I took. The hard decision I chose felt like leaving home, only because I was leaving everything I knew, my friends and peers. To bring out my determination and other lovely qualities of myself, I have developed a collection of five songs that shows you who I am. These songs will give you a better understanding. The following below describes five songs that represent me and describes my fun loving personality. I will start off by saying, I do not listen to music much. Over the years I have accumulated some songs I have come to love. The first song I picked was something to show my faith in a way. I believe in miracles and that everything happens for a reason. I also believe in karma and that time is limited. The first song I chose was “Temporary Home” by Carrie Underwood. Underwood sings to express how she sees her time on earth. Also, in her tear-jerking song she tells us how every moment counts. An example to prove to you is in the song she sings “Old man, hospital bed \ The …show more content…
“Family is Family is a song by Kacey Musgraves. In the song, Musgraves says “You might look just like ‘em; that don’t mean you like em’ \ But you love ‘em” (Musgraves 2015). I relate to this song because no matter how much you do not like someone in your family, you would still be there for them and likewise. Even though I love and acknowledge i would not be anywhere without my family sometimes I need to get away.
