The article concluded that as long as managers master the ability to develop a strategy of thinking that works for them they will have to build from this strategy as well as instilling this strategy with employees to become successful as an individual as well as an organization.

This article has made me aware that as a manager you have to develop your own strategy when it comes to dealing with employees. This will include the ability to thing cognitively and develop a strategy that can work to the empowerment of your organization. There should be guidelines that should be followed and the strategy developed should put extra emphasis on weak points that would have to be focused on as a manager.
A reference listed in the article was Mintzberg, et al. 1998 which states Drawing on literature in strategy, cognitive science and adult learning, we propose a model of learning to think strategically that follows the ‘learning school’ of strategy making (Mintzberg et al., 1998). I agree with this point because when it comes to thinking strategically there is much that should be considered when working in the position as a manager. The learning school can be a great basis that managers can use because this can be used to establish ongoing training and updates for employees.
