The 21st century has excelled to stages that could never have been dreamt of. The current reality is much more advanced then what was expected less than 20 years ago. The world has evolved from containing stationary people with limited ideas to a planet full of talented individuals with boundless imaginations. The hopes that people had from technology are drowning. 20 November 1984, a young American, named Bill Gates, launches Windows, an operating system which introduces countless new ideas the can be implemented in computer technology. In 2006, mobile phone technology had reached a standstill, they were smaller, and lighter but the technology was still the same as the late 1990’s. In 2007, a middle aged man, Steve Jobs, launched the worlds’ first advanced touchscreen mobile phone. That phone revolutionised the industry and can still be remembered as the original IPhone. Greed is the desire to want more and that is exactly what Bill Gates in 1984 and Steve Jobs in 2007 did. How different would the world be if Gates and Jobs did not have that desire and never invented Windows or the IPhone? Would the world still be as technologically advanced? Some may argue that these necessities are hard to gain in life but it is a well-known truth that these necessitates are provided to most. However, many people strive to be able to enjoy the comforts of life that do not come with these necessities.
