The groundwork that I have to lay has to take into consideration the role and perception of change in an organization setup. Essentially, the people are involved in the management of different chapters in different communities. As such, my laying the groundwork for change has to consider the "people side" of the required change. As Lewin (2011) notes, the first reaction which any organization teams reflect regarding change is resistance. To narrow the scope of the activities that the organization does, I will seek input from various communities regarding the services that the organization provides best in their localities by the organization. Accordingly, I will seek to discuss with chapter representatives, concerning activities they perform with more and convenience. As such, i shall have done necessary groundwork to reduce the number of areas of responsibility by the organization. I will then coalesce the points of agreement between the recipient, which are the communities and the service givers who are the various organization chapters, working in such communities. Such groundwork is essential for the purposes of eliminating instances of resistance to change by the communities and the chapters. The reason is that resistance to change is a common cause for stalling of projects by organization (Burke, 2002). I shall have dealt with the "people side" of change. Additionally, I will engage our competitors so that the organizations carry out activities on the platform of relative advantage. As part of the groundwork, I will limit activity of the areas of relative disadvantage, an action that will stimulate competitors to carry on with more zeal on such areas, thereby relatively relinquishing other areas in which my organization
