There are a lot of meanings and arguments for gun control. Obviously, more guns mean more homicides. Of course, it does not mean that homicides would disappear completely with gun control in all the states, but the numbers of them would be smaller. If everyone has easy access to guns, they are more likely to kill you than if they do not have access.

Researches show that 49 of these shootings were performed using legal weapons. This is a huge number! Think how many lives could have been saved with some restrictions.
US have already to many guns. Even war-zones such as Iraq and Somalia - have fewer guns than America.
Why would someone be against gun control? One of the reasons is that there is still murder in countries where guns are banned. Just because you ban them, does not mean that people will not find other ways to massacre other people.
Another good reason to believe that America does not need restricted access to guns is that armed civilians may help and take out the bad guys. Sadly, arming everyone would not help.
