The Harlem Renaissance was a iconic time for the African American culture. This movement “was phase of a large New Negro movement that had emerged in the early twenties and ushered in the Civil Rights Movement” (Hutchinson). The Great Migration of African Americans from the south to the north raised level in literacy. The Civil Rights Movement opened socioeconomic opportunities and developed racial pride. This movement crossed paths in metropolis area such as New York City and Paris after the first World War. Both had an invigorating influence on one another which gave a profoundly international importance to the Negro Renaissance (Hutchinson).The movement is unusual amongst literacy and artistic movements. Different artist such as: Paul Roberson,
