The holocaust is a very dangerous and important part in our history. Focus more on the concentration camps. Thats where they sent the people who “didn't belong” in their world. This was a very bad time period in our history because they did terrible things to them and there were many camps. Also there weren't just jews in the camps there was other people too.
These concentration camps did terrible things to the jews. they hurt them in many ways they tortured them and forced them to do work, Holocaust Encyclopedia states “Despite the chronic need for forced labor, the SS authorities continued to deliberately undernourish and mistreat prisoners incarcerated in the concentration camps”(“Concentration Camps, 1933–1939”). This also shows how many it could hold and also there was even more people in the other camps. It is crazy how many camps they had throughout Europe and how many they held.
Last but not least, people think it was only jews in the camps.
