It could happen to children, teens, adults, and/or seniors. It has risky behaviors and damages someone's personality. This disorder is a complex illness with serious symptoms; ranging from mania to depression. The illness is full of dramatic, unpredictable mood swings. The dangers of bipolar is serious and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Feeling depressed for two weeks, then automatically changing to mania for absolutely no reason at all. The unwanted and racing thoughts. People not needing to sleep, to feeling fatigue. Sometime’s this illness can lead to self harm and/or suicide.
The best treatment for Bipolar is medication and psychotherapy. Medication must be taken for the rest of your life. Psychotherapy is only to help better cope with their illness. The medication are mostly to help with bipolar or even schizophrenia. Valproic acid, lithium, lamotrigine, quetiapine, among others are medications that might be given to ill people, otherwise known as bipolar patients.
