ANDREW JACKSON
Andrew Jackson was a prime president that did a lot to help out our developing company at the time. He was an aggressive leader that made a huge impact that led to a strong country. Although he has made many mistakes during the time of his presidency, he has made quite a few impacts that lead to what our country is today. Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United States, made an impact to our country by organizing a Democratic Party, strengthening the union, and made the economy better, which led to what the United States is today. Andrew Jackson’s campaign was primarily unified by the use of Democratic principles. He called itself the “American Democracy”. He wanted a simple government and they did not like government favoritism. He wanted everyone to have an equal chance at having a say in different things. Andrew Jackson was very successful in strengthening an economy that was efficient. “Although he vetoed many economy-related bills, he made many economic policies that helped the US in many ways. At the time they needed something that would sustain a developing national economy in the United States.” even though Jackson vetoed laws, he replaced these with even better ideas. He forced banks into strict policies that would make them a lot more organized and have things that could apply to make make a better economy. Jackson allowed bank to have an immense amount of power, but unfortunately it went too far, which caused a lot of bank failures. Andrew Jackson went against Federalists. Tariffs became lower. This greatly affected foreign trade in the country around 1832. Therefore, this made the United states have a better economy, especially with all the trade that he encouraged, which led to the United States having more a more stable economic
