JOB DECRIPTION
Job Title: Systems Specialist

Reports to: Ryan Zilinski (Owner)
Personnel Responsible for: None thus far
Functional Relationships With: Ryan Zilinski, Carli Zilinski, Franz Zilinski
Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Job Purpose: To be the go to person for at least two of our major clients with everything and anything to do with our product POWERSHEQ. To achieve this, the Systems Specialist will be responsible for installing, upgrading and maintaining the POWERSHEQ software for our clients and to be able to resolve any other issues clients may have in regards to the product. To be able to do this, the majority of work is completed on site so he/she will travel to and between client’s work places. This makes it easier for the clients and employees.
Main Duties: 1. Work with the clients and the POWERSHEQ software so they are able to effectively maximise the use of the product and to be able to maintain without the need of a SHEQ employee.
Task(s):
* Installing, upgrading and maintaining the POWERSHEQ software * Assessing client system and training requirements * Provide on-going training and support to managers and staff using the system * Being available at any time to consult on system or SHEQ related issues * Being available at any time to travel to and between different clients and locations 2. Complete or resolve any contractual and/or planning issues clients will to do with POWERSHEQ.

* Contract negotiations with current and possibly new clients * Drawing up project implementation plans 3. When needed, the incumbent will fill in for sales employees

* Assist Ryan with the sales if software 4. Complete other duties related to SHEQ SYSTEMS that the business owner may have from time to time.
Relationships:
Work with: Work mainly by themselves, but can seek advice from Ryan.
External Relationships: Work with the major clients who will be assigned to the incumbent. They will be the main point of contact so there will be different types of managers that will be worked with.
Work Conditions: Travel is a crucial part of this job and it cannot be done without travel. The majority of their time would be spent at clients’ premises across New Zealand and a considerable amount of time travelling between different clients and locations. For this we provide a company car and a very generous travel allowance. A company laptop and cell phone are also provided for work purposes only.
Performance bonuses are earnable. This is linked to client satisfaction levels and key project milestones being achieved. These bonuses are on top of their annual salary.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge:
Essential: * Knowledge in both information systems and operations management. * Knowledge of different operation systems. * Comprehensive understanding of SHEQ and ISO standards and compliance.
Desirable:
* Experience in information system implementation. * Experience with software analysis. * Knowledge in computer programming.
Skills:
Essential: * High class computer skills * Sound business communication skills. * Valid full New Zealand driver’s license
Desirable:
- Skills using different operation systems and business software programs
Abilities:
Essential: * Be able to handle difficult managers while remaining highly professional. * Ability to process and interpret complex information. * Ability to safely drive for long periods of time. * Integrity and honesty. * Being flexible with work times. * Strong prioritisations skills.
Desirable:
* Attention to detail, able to pick out their own and others mistakes.
