The government failed at the job that it should have in the city of New Orleans after the Hurricane Katrina. But the worst at fault were the people that could leave and chose not to because they made it out of Beste. I think that the government was at fault but the people that stay if they could get out are needing to take so of the blame for what happen.This is one of the biggest storms in recent time and we are still feeling the effects of Hurricane Katrina today.
This is how the national government is at fault for the aftermath of the Hurricane Katrina. That the levels were not complete and could not stand up to a level one and a five was on its way. The biggest reason that they were not completed was money the corps of engineers lost the funding and could no longer have money to build them. The other reason could have been that they were blow up by the national government so that the rich house would not be harmed like in the last big storm to hit the area. They sent in the coast guard but it took them like three days which is one day longer than it should have taking but was still within reason. The US coast guard took too long to get into the fooled zones but by only one day they most likely stop to drop off personnel and spicules at the other gulf states that were hit by this storm.The national government needs to …show more content…
They did not set up a bus to get the people that could not get out. They knew that there was a lot of people that could not get out at all. They also could not pay for the bus which is probably what cause they do be not enuff bus for the people. But they get some of the blame taking off because they did issue a state of emergency. This means that they said that this is going to be bad. This is the best thing that they could have done before the storm. This why in my mind the state should get 25% of the blame for the aftermath of Hurricane
