My teacher once said, “We must learn history before it is repeated” Although history is brutal and horrific, it is important to learn the past before we are doomed to repeat it. When I read “I Remember Night: Remembering Elie Wiesel” author Clementine Wamariya seemed to have a personal connection to Night. The night inspired many, including Wamariya, to speak out as she had similar experiences to Elie.
