Having friends who went through the same thing that I was going through was one the most helpful things that I had during my first two years in the United States. My friends always told me if I put all effort into something that I will be able to reap the reward of my labor later. Being around this supportive community of immigrants, I learned how to fit into my new home. I used the experience and values that I had learned from my first two years and applied it to everything that I have done in my life. As for school, I worked my hardest to be in the top seven percent of the school so that I can go the best university.
