Let's start from the beginning, Bilbo is a hobbit, a hobbit is a creature that is roughly half the size of humans, all hobbits have thick hair on their feet, and round bellies. Hobbits have a passion for good food, comfort, and security. Gandalf is a wizard that later becomes Bilbo’s friend, but Gandalf wanted Bilbo to have nothing to comfort him. Gandalf wanted him to join them on a journey to the Lonely Mountain to reclaim it as theirs from the dragon, Smaug, that had lit the village on fire and killed the people years ago. When Bilbo woke up, he gathered a few things in a satchel and ran out the door. When he finally caught up to the gang they were already on horses and on their way “Stop, stop, it's me, I've signed it!” he yelled. This is the second heroic thing he's done. In the sense that he has no idea the path they were going to take or the problems that are going to face just in the fact that they needed a 14th member he signed it. So they began their journey and later walked through the woods and the dwarves told him to climb to the top of the trees to look around. He had to climb up to the top of the tallest tree to look around and when he got up there he looked around and saw they were going in the right direction and came back down as he came back down he slipped and fell and got caught in one of the spider webs. Many spiders gathered and captured all of the dwarves. Bilbo soon cut through the web and killed one of the spiders as it screamed it alerted all of the other spiders in the area and they all surrounded that's when he slipped on the ring he found and he turned invisible and threw a stick to distract and move them to a different location. When they left, he let all of the dwarves out of the webs. This was when everybody but Bilbo was
