Evidence is the glue that holds the criminal justice system together. It is the main reason for the suspects being brought to justice and it is the main reason why the victims finally find peace. The importance of evidence rests solely on the preservation and safe collection of said evidence. The reason as to why this is so important is because if it isn’t collected and properly stored it can be labeled inadmissible in court and ruin the entire case, eventually leading to the suspect being free.
