George Marsh was just playing the drums and would dance once in a while. I wasn’t able to get everyone else because it got pretty loud. The songs they played was Bells Of Camoglia, The Purple Grotto, Newly Wedding, Slinky Horn ,Pipe Dream, and others. They most focus on the album THE DAVID GRISMAN SEXTE, which I can tell it meant a lot to him because he had a couple tears in his eyes. The concert lasted 1 hour and they went in. But people started saying for another song, so they came out to peform another song which was Del & Dawg. My experience during the concert was over all good. It was good to try something new. As the performance start, I just wanted to walk out. Just didn’t like the tone of the instrument. They didn’t even sing which I thought they did. In the beginning it seemed that I only played to hear them sing. After all each song had a story which gives it value to the song. After the second song I started to get into it. It’s a big difference from rap. It’s more calm and relaxing. I was astounded by the way David Grisman collaborates his music and flows the songs all together. Although his rhythm was pretty much smooth as music I’m used to I still found myself really enjoying and connecting to his music on a spiritual level. I think the repetitive of the instrument is a style he adds to his music which is extremely unique and this makes him stand out completely as an
