Psychologist, Scientist (1896-1980)
Jean Piaget, was born August 9, 1896 in Neuchatel Switzerland. He, was a psychologist and scientist who created the four stages of development among children. Where he later became a leading figure in the fields of developmental psychology and cognitive theory. At the age of eleven Piaget, wrote his first scientific paper about the albino sparrow. When entering his teenage years, his scientific papers were published and his interest in the field stayed with him forever. In 1918, Piaget attended the University of Neuchatel, he studied zoology and received his Ph.D in natural sciences.
