For some time now, discussions about the death penalty have increased. Which is revealing many flaws in the criminal justice system. This project portrays the death penalty by highlighting ethical concerns and injustices. By examining wrongful convictions and the cruelty of punishments, it emphasizes the importance of human rights and justice.

George Daniel's case, in "Just Mercy," shows how individuals with disabilities are hurt by the criminal justice system and subjected to harsh punishment, including the death penalty (Stevenson 189). Despite suffering from impairment following a car crash, Daniel found himself facing the ultimate punishment. Similarly, the wrongful conviction of Walter McMillian in Alabama sheds light on the flaws within
