Executive Summary
Leadership is to influence organizational environment and people so as to enable effective use of organizational resources and productive working of people with contentment for accomplishment of organizational objectives. A modern managerial leader should be well-versed about cultural peculiarities in which he or she performs and lives, exposed to cultural surroundings, alert, and able to implement the appropriate leadership style for the particular cultural environment and the specific situation. Transformational leaders motivates followers to attain more challenging goals, to improve themselves to high level of abilities, and uses different and new techniques to resolve problems This reports is divided into 3 sections and aims to enable readers understand different approaches and strategies of leadership in modern organization context. Literature review is conducted in section 1; on the basis of which various themes are derived like, transformational leaders exhibits four I’s i.e. Individualized consideration, Intellectual stimulation, Inspirational motivation and Idealize influence. Transformational leaders are highly motivated, boost self confidence, lead to high performance, positively influence team empowerment and effectiveness and possess ability to impact the attitudes, values, behaviours and beliefs of people by working with and through them so as to realize the purpose and mission of the organization. Further, these themes are applied to the modern organization i.e. Infosys in Section 2. Finally, Section 3 discusses about my self assessment which depicted me as a task oriented leader, realistic personality and ENFJ personality type as per MBIT test. Further, I compared my self with the themes derived and realized my strengths such as charismatic, ability to influence others, productive, planner etc and weaknesses like less innovative, less employee oriented etc. Thereafter I have prepared a developmental plan which states what I need to do to overcome my weaknesses, maintain my strengths and achieve my target in life.

1. Introduction
Leadership is a process in which a group of individuals are influenced by an individual to achieve a common objective (Northouse, 2004). A modern managerial leader should possess special qualities like innovation, cultural sensitivity, the capability to adjust to the ever changing cultural environment, an appropriate leadership style for a particular situation and intercultural communication skills, while dealing with cultural differences in an interdependent world and global intercultural economy (Harris and Moran, 1991).
This report is divided into 3 sections, section 1 aims to conduct a literature review on Transformational style of leadership and thereby draw themes based on the literature review. Section 2 discusses about the modern organization i. e.
