Throughout his childhood, his parents made him and his sister take lessons with a private teacher. Her name was Suzzar Craig. His parents love for the Broadway shows had a larger effect with Manuels love for music. It shows in his work and he thanks them for it by doing something with the lessons he was told to take. He grew up in a family that loved music. Even though they didn't have lots of money, they would still find one way to hear the soft trill of Broadway. Throughout his school years, Manuel was in show choir at Hunter College High School in New York city. He loved the thrill of the theater, always wanting to do more. He thought it was a very good way to express oneself and a very good way to stay out of trouble. He thought it would be a very good way to make his family proud. Music is a way to tell a story that can't necessarily be told without emotion. The very first show that he ever did was called the West Side Story from March 19,2009 to January 02, 2011.
