Is spending thousands of dollars just to get a higher education and a degree worth it? Is all of this necessary today? It's no wonder parents start saving money for college for their children so early, even though people who get a college degree are in debt for years following graduation. College should be cheaper to make it more accessible, help the economy, and lower debt.

The first thing that would improve would be for more people to have the chance to have a higher education and get a degree. “Societies with higher rates of degree completion and levels of education tend to be healthier, have higher rates of economic stability, lower crime, and greater equality.” Benefits of Education Are Societal and Personal 2) Studies show that people who have a higher education, due to their typically healthier lifestyles, are 33% less likely to develop a heart disease later in life. There are many benefits to this; they felt more secure in their financial situation, and they were able to save more instead of paying for loans.
