Martin Luther King was a Civil Rights Activist that was against the Vietnam War. There were three million lives lost and ten thousand missing, which caused problems in The United States. Martin Luther King wanted peace between all countries. He wanted all the men and boys to be home for their families. There were many problems associated with the war. One of the many problems was all families that were poor were becoming poorer. This was because the men were the ones that would work and support the family. When the war started there were so many men drafted into the war and the families were left to fend for themselves.
