“ I saved her life today.” Mary Warren says this to John Proctor because his wife Elizabeth was mentioned in the court. Mary Warren and I have some personality traits in which we share, for example we both think about other individuals, never make decisions easily, and create the most intricate of ideas off the top of our heads.
Mary and I are both thoughtful about other people. In Mary’s case the poppet she made for Elizabeth was her courteous action. When Mary was testifying in court she made a doll as a way to apologize to Elizabeth for being gone all day. I on the other hand, donated to Project Semicolon; a charity to help people with depression and bipolar disorder. I bought a ring where a portion of the proceeds went to Project Semicolon. Another way I am thoughtful, is what I gift to people for his/her birthday. For my mother’s birthday, I gave her a plaque with a saying about how great of a mother she has been.

For example, I was very tentative about this paper. I was on the fence about who i wanted to compare myself to, what traits I could use, and what examples I wanted to utilize. Mary was wavering in her loyalty to Abigail. Mary was at first with Abigail and the other girls, then she was willing to tell the truth to the courts, then she changed her mind back to siding with Abigail, in the process of accusing John Proctor of witchcraft.
