Annie was observed during her math intervention class, with 1st grade teacher Mrs. Davis, and her 3rd grade general education classroom, with Mrs. K. Annie was a happy young lady and she appeared to be adequately groomed and dressed. Upon arrival to Annie's general education classroom, Mrs. K, stated that the students were working on their morning work. During this time period Annie received an alternative morning work assignment. She had a worksheet, where she had to match the ducks on the right side of the paper with the duck on the left side. Once Annie found the matches then she was supposed to color the duck. As observed Annie used her crayons to scribble over each matching duck. On the other hand, Annie's peers had a worksheet where they were learning how to read weight a scale. During the walk to the math intervention class Annie spoke about her after school activities. Her tone was low yet she smiled with excitement. Additionally, Annie stated that she was excited for the day to be over because she had negative feelings pertaining to school. Annie was able to adequately navigate the halls of the school to her next class. Upon arrival she opened the door and proceeded to her assigned seat. She was instructed to start on the morning assignment that her classmates were working on. Immediately, peers at her table attempted to assist Annie catch up with her worksheet by allowing her to copy the answers.
