Throughout the years language itself has evolved in a way where new words are constantly being created and word meanings themselves are being altered. A prime example of this can be found in the word "ignorant". This is a frequent arguement in the academic world tothe point where there are even polls online. The debate in continual on what the actual defnition or correct usage for ignorant is. The word has lost its original dictionary meaning due to the actual ignorance today's society. Although the word is being used incorrectly, ignorant is frequently used in that way that the word almost now has two meanings entirely, the dictionary form being used more academically and the urban form being used in everyday speech. HOwver the actual word itself has a latin origin. The latin word ignorare means not to know so that would entail where the defintion of ignorant came from. An example of ignorance can easily be found in a newborn child. Newborn children have very little knowledge on any subject besides the basic human functions. Ignorant can also be found in people who are misinformed or uninformed in a situation, they form an inference that is incorrect. For example, people who are racist are a prime representation of ignorant. They don't know about the other race fully so they can not completely backup their hatred. Another example can be found in homophobic people. Those who are homophobic are hetereosexual, so they obviously do not understand why those who are homosexual are that way. So, those people who are actually ignorant are just unintelligable in that area until they get the chance to
