Having a day dedicated to the soldiers who died during their service shows our respect for the soldiers who died while fighting for our country. It takes pride and honor for our country to step onto the battlefield and help fight for our country. I have a sister who fought in the War in Iraq from 2002-2004, and she tells me how it was during the war. She lost many of her closest friends during that war. Being in a war brings PTSD to these soldiers, and they are faced with so many challenging obstacles. However, the moment you are born in the United States of America (USA), you are given freedom such as free education, financial aid, and the freedom to express yourself. We thank and honor our soldiers for fighting for our rights and freedom. If we didn't have soldiers willing to go on and fight for our rights, we would never have any kind of freedom.
