Mercutio Is To Blame For Romeo's Death

In Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Romeo Montague and Juliet's Capulet end up falling in love with each other, but their love and family feud ends up killing them and even more people. In my own opinion, I think that Romeo was to blame for the deaths of himself and Juliet. One example from the play is that Romeo tries to stop Tybalt from killing Mercutio, but it just ends up killing Mercutio, so he ends up cursing the family (Act 3). This evidence clearly proves that Romeo is to blame, because if Mercutio didn't die, the family would not have been cursed. The second example from the play for which Romeo is to blame is that he killed Tybalt, so he got banished from Verona (3). This evidence clearly proves Romeo could have stayed with Juliet
