Since I was accepted into the Goddard Scholars Program, I had to attend a new school. Middle school was a major transition. I was no longer in a grade-school classroom led by one teacher every day. I had multiple classes with different teachers. I knew no at my new school, but many of my classmates seemed to know each other because several students came from the same school. I was the only one that came from Grafton St. School. Having no friends at school was fairly upsetting. I had friends outside of school, yet I was at school for a great deal of my time and I needed somebody there to talk to. I felt lonely and this affected my social skills.
