Showing you care about the relationship between your parents and yourself is respect. Treating people the way you would like to be treated back is respect as well. Listening to what they have to say and taking that respect and understanding where they are coming from. Giving that respect to that person but not getting it back like when you do everything and anything for that person in respect and they know about it but can’t give it back really sucks. One thing you just have to know to let go of that type of relationship being shared with that one person, there is only two things that can happen from this that person can come back and give you that respect in return or that relationship wasn’t to be. Respect can be shown in a variety of ways to a person. Love between the family can be a way to better the relationship between the members. Being accepted of who we are and of the mistakes each and one of the members has made and still throughout all that the parent child relationship will still remain strong.
