1. What assumptions do you have regarding your mental health clinical experience to which you are assigned?

When I think of Mental Health I make an assumption that the people we will be communicating with will have some sort of mental illness, whether it be serious or not. When I think of the psych unit, it brings back memories of my grandma being put into one and those memories are very scary. But I am not entirely sure that a hospital and a psych ward are the same situation. Either way I think this will be a great experience and be something that each nursing student should have to do.

2. What are your expectations from this clinical experience?
