In the past, I played soccer. It took a lot of commitment and time to be able to keep good grades as well as being able to attend all my practices and games. By being flexible, I am open to new ideas and challenges that are presented to me. Another important characteristic that I have is being helpful. This year during calculus class, I was extremely helpful to my classmates. During this class, many students were struggling. I took initiative to help students help them understand. Being helpful is one of the most important characteristics because it reveals people's true personality by putting others first before themselves. Something that I find very unique about myself is that I am very creative. When given the opportunity, I go beyond what is necessary. This happened in my freshman year when we were required to do a project of maple syrup. With the project I was given, I created a small, realistic piece of wood out of styrofoam and I painted over it to make it look realistic.
