Lord Capulet and Lord Montague decided to build gold statues in memory of their late children; Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, who were found dead last night in the Capulet tomb. Relative of the Prince, County Paris was also found dead in the tomb, around 1:00 am, when his Page realized he had not returned from placing flowers on his ex-fiancé, Juliet’s tomb. Worried, the Page went to find the watchmen. “It was very dark and I saw Romeo enter the tomb after Paris”, said Paris’ Page. “I was worried that Paris had not returned, after about half an hour of waiting, I went to search for help”. Romeo, a Montague was found dead in the Capulet tomb was there because he and Juliet, a Capulet has secretly been married. She was pretending to be dead to escape her marriage with Paris, and had hoped Romeo would come save her with the help of Friar Laurence, even though Romeo has been banished from Verona streets. “I secretly married Romeo and Juliet hoping it would end their families’ feud”, Friar Laurence said. “It is a shame Romeo acted rashly by killing himself, or else they would both be here with us” The wedding could not, but the death of their children brought Montague and Capulet’s to the decision of once again bring peace to Verona after seeing all the bloodshed happening due to the feud.
