Edward Sorin, founder of Notre Dame, said, ”This college will be one of the most powerful means for doing good in this country,” his words have influenced my decision for the college I will choose to graduate from. Throughout the 174 years Notre Dame has been open it has paved the way for many successful people. Out-of-state students get a benefit because Notre Dame is a private school, so the price for out-of-state tuition is the same as in state. If I choose to attend Notre Dame my biggest struggle would be the distance away from home. Students can pursue a diverse range of careers because of the programs offered to them, there are fifty plus master’s, doctoral, and professional degrees available. The history, cost, and the programs offered have affected if I will go to Notre Dame in the near future.
