• Use of Barcode: The Use of Barcode in the courier label of every shipment is the first step we could take to digitize our efforts in making the courier service in consideration to be more efficient and accurate. This technology would include the printing of barcodes on every shipment label, which would carry required basic information about the shipment to be sent. The basic information could contain the name of sender/receiver or the address of the receiver or the booking ID. Use of barcode also enables the courier company to maintain a traceable database of all the booked orders. If a place is well connected with roads then a mini truck or a minivan or vehicles of that sort would be enough to handle the requests of that area, but in case of a place which is not so well connected with roads and is a bit off road, so for the places of that sort the company should prefer motor bikes or e-cycles for the delivery of the shipment to that area. This would reduce the extra cost of fuel consumed and the extra cost of maintenance of vehicles and then due to the improper handling of the vehicles, i.e. running the van on off road will increase the cost of maintenance and fuel consumed.
