Part of this verification would be to determine if the server updates are applied and whether or not more updates are needed. The verification would check whether or not the software licences is in place and if these licences are still valid. The software that is installed on the server would need to be verified to determine if it still supports the security updates and whether or not these software are still up to date.
When it is determined that the servers is no longer needed the development team would need to have a decommission plan in place. The System Decommission requires a strict adherence to mandate and regulations relating to contract termination, dispositioning of assets, the management of records, the transitioning of the remaining fiscal management details and the placement of the staff. Each task would be able to accomplish different functions. These functions would depend on the configuration parameters that it would be supplied with. The configuration parameters for the individual tasks would be provided by the XML files. This means that the Test Harness would start with the loading of the configuration files, getting the tasks and its parameters out of configuration file, and finally running the task with the desired properties. The tasks that make up these processes would invoke the Web Service that would need to be tested, get the results and if the task is doing the performance testing, it will measure the execution
