With this people cannot be deny or change more cost because they have been sick by insurance companies. For example, people where been change more for pre-existing conditions before like cancer or diabetes this made many families or individual so difficult to afford health insurance. However, Insurance companies cannot cancel coverage or lifetime limits on your care. This is when companies put a limit on what they will spend when you are getting sick.
Last but not the least, pros of Obamacare act is the no discrimination. Families or individuals cannot be charge more premium cost because of their gender, health status, claim history, duration of coverage, occupation and small employer size and industry. However, there are certain reasons such as age, family size, geography, and tobacco use. This is used to calculate your premium or insurance costs to consumer.
One of the disadvantages of Obamacare act is the employer mandate to pay the insurance fee for the employees. This has been a policy or a law as of 2016 that employers are demanded.
