CONSTRUCTED RESPONSE 1.

The one-child policy is a good idea. Even though for most of the time people weren't as fond of it, it was good for the environment. Some people struggled a bit, but it still wasn't too bad. Here is some evidence as to why I think it was a good idea.

In document A we can see that the population was still rising but it was still at a good rate. We can see that even though the fertility rate was reduced to 1 they were still rising fairly well. In document B we that because of it they stopped 400 million births from happening. That doesn't sound like something good, but if it weren't for that they would be more over populated in some areas.
