Many teenagers nowadays fall into the peer pressure of drugs and aren’t sure of how to overcome the addiction. Peyton Sawyer, one of the main characters, fits into that category perfectly. Her mom passed away, and ever since then she has struggled with making the right choices in certain circumstances. Peyton has a passion for music, and she wants to start a teen club that hosts local bands. One certain band wouldn’t play for her until she agreed to snort a line of cocaine, so she gave in and did it. Although Peyton knew it was the wrong decision, she did it anyways and later regretted it when she was craving to do it more and more. She soon admits to herself that she has a problem and gets help immediately. Another situation is sibling rivalry. Just about every set of siblings will say that they fight almost 24/7. This is just like Dan and Keith Scott. Dan is Keith’s younger brother, yet he always likes to start the bickering. He is very jealous of how everyone admires Keith and wants to get revenge on him. Keith helped Lucas’ mom Karen raise him because Dan left them to be with his wife, Deb, and Nathan. Dan doesn’t like how close they all are, so he tries to destroy their family at all costs. Nobody is going to want to watch something that is totally unrealistic, and One Tree Hill does a fantastic job at making sure
