Known for its pattern, pandas are a cuddly, huggable, and peaceful animal that people enjoy loving. Right now, people have taken their cuteness to another level, and to this day they are in trouble. There is a ton of amazing facts about pandas like their habitat, relatives, diet, important body functions and parts, habits, and their troubles. To top it off, pandas have originated from China, but many are being taken away. They are taken away for a good cause though. People from all over the world have been travelling from all over to rescue this important animal. For, lets say, their thumb. Pandas thumbs happen to be their sixth finger. Pandas originally have five fingers for claws, but they have grown and evolved to where part of their wrist bone moves into the paw as a thumb. If pandas would have never adapted to this formation, pandas would starve. The thumb is what gives them a grip so they can break bamboo, (a very tough plant), and be able to move it to their mouth for that tasty bite. Another thing about the panda is that their digestive system is not very efficient, which means its works way faster than humans, which makes the panda more hungry to eat more, and that makes the panda overweight. Well if the panda mainly eats bamboo, a healthy plant, why are they so overweight? That can be answered easily because since their digestive system works so fast it never gets the nutrients out of it. All the food they eat turns into fat and builds up before it comes out. Another thing about the panda's body is its fur. Pandas are mainly known for its fur. If someone says black and white, the most common answer would be a panda.
